Our Rescue Truck 7207
7207 came in to service in the fall of  2003.
7207 is a 21 ft International 4400.
200 gallons of water for decotamination.
7207 Carries a 4 bottle 6000psi cascade.
Fill station, 9000 watt light tower on the roof & (2) 650 watt light stands.

Coverage

Our Coverage area is adjacent water to our fire protect district, but also covered is Mutrual aid to Bass RIver Twp., ( Burlington Co), Tuckerton Borough, Eagleswood Twp., Stafford Twp., Barnegat twp.,  LBI, and Ocean County on a Regular Basis, and will responeto any mutrual aid request for assistance.


Personnel

The water rescue team fall under the Chief of the Fire Company, and has two levels of leadership below the Chief that specialize on this type of rescue.  First is the Dive Captain, then a Lead Diver, these officers all decide on the best course of action for the team based on the service request and all other conditions. Divers are trained for zero visibility diving,  as that is the majority of marine conditions we cover.  Divers are trained to diffrent levels based on time in and experience, any diver may refuse to dive at anytime. Training includes self rescue, buddy rescue, serach patterns, evidence recovery, air lift bags, body recover, rapid deployment, ice rescue, ice diving and dry suit diving.


Fire Boat

Unit 7226 is a 24 ft Parker Center
console fiberglass with a  225
Yamaha  outboard, 500 gpm pump w/2 hand lines, capable of carrying 4 divers with spare bottles. 10 month docking on Great Bay.  GPS and Sonar Equipped and towable in mintues to any location for deployment.
Jet Ski- Kawasaki (2)

Two Jet Ski personal watercraft capable
of rapid response, low water travel, and equipped with a rescue board for patient removal from the water as well as rapid pick up of victim. Both Trailered for rapid deployment closer to incident location.
Inflatable Boat

Unit 7236 is a 16 ft Zodiac with a 50 hp
